About the project: KLEBEMICH

Paper can be as fluid as paint, as graphic as a drawing, as light as air, as mobile and yet stable and can take on any shape.

Thus the collage becomes a contemporary document made from scraps of news, advertisements, music sketches, maps... Like liberated words, letters roll out into sounds and noises, juggle and tumble an overabundance of simultaneous information into the picture. Printed paper fragments and drawings are now placed in new contexts of meaning.

Klebemich shows an information-saturated reality, searching for creative possibilities among a tangle of corrupt data. Klebemich establishes relationships between the cuts from many sources and give a certain vision of this tragicomic and unruly postmodern world. Try to explain a chaotic continent, from an industrialized country in a multicultural city, from a changing neighborhood.

We are children of Max Ernst, John Heartfield, Joy Division, Rocio Jurado, Amrita Sherqill, Om Kalthoum, Braque, Schwitters. Collectors and makers of rare images and antiques of the absurd.
